This case in Sag Harbor consisted of both ornamental and revegetation areas on an acre. The front of the house was neglected by the previous owner for many years and consisted of large stumps and invasive plants. Hamptons Superior Revegetation removed beds of old plants, ground up numerous large stumps, added topsoil to build raised beds and planted butterfly gardens, dutch bulbs, Weeping Alaskan Cedar and other specimens for 4 -season interest. A foundation of holly and boxwood glued everything together.
This property is unfenced and the deer were very aggressive. The revegetation was waterfront. It required removal of non-native species such as forsythia. We incorporated pathways, lounge areas, stacked stone fire pit, owl and songbird nests, and a kayak setup which all blends harmoniously from the back deck.
